We are overjoyed to announce that, thanks to a generous single $52,600 contribution, we have acquired a brand-new shuttle bus that will truly transform the lives of the children we serve. This bus isn’t just a means of transportation—it’s a passport to adventure, discovery, and learning beyond the classroom.
With this new shuttle, we can now take our students on enriching field trips to places they may have only dreamed of visiting—like the beach, museums, cultural centers, parks, and more. These experiences will broaden their horizons, spark their curiosity, and create lifelong memories. The bus will also help us run important school errands and connect children from various communities, making our programs more accessible and inclusive.
The pure joy and wonder on the children’s faces say it all—this bus represents newopportunities, unforgettable journeys, and the promise of brighter futures.
Touchstone Cares recently had the privilege of joining forces with our friends from Touchstone Capital and The Blessing Board for a truly special event: the monthly "Day of Blessing." Our theme, “Blessings Multiplied,” was more than just a phrase — it became the heartbeat of our experience.
From the moment we arrived, the energy was contagious. Volunteers came together, united by a shared purpose: to serve our community and spread kindness. The Blessing Board’s welcoming team guided us through their mission, reminding us how a simple act of generosity can ripple outward, touching countless lives.
Throughout the day, we sorted donations, assembled furniture, and helped p repare household essentials for families in need. Each task, no matter how small, felt significant. We listened to stories of resilience and hope from those who had received help in the past, and we witnessed firsthand the impact that a caring community ca n have.
What made the day even more meaningful was the spirit of collaboration. Working side by side with our colleagues, we laughed, learned, and encouraged one another. Every box packed and every item loaded onto a needy family ’ s truck was a tangible rem inder that when we come together, our blessings truly multiply.
As the day came to a close, we reflected on the countless ways we had been blessed — by the gratitude of those we served, by the camaraderie among volunteers, and by the knowledge that small act s of kindness can create a lasting difference.
We are grateful to The Blessing Board for their unwavering commitment to our community. Together, we proved that when hearts and hands unite, blessings are not just added — they are multiplied.
Giving is woven into the fabric of our Firm and our volunteer day this year was no different. On June 3rd, our Touchstone team was busy helping and supporting families in need both domestically and internationally. Our team is small, but for our size we are mighty givers! The day began at the Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank in Pittsburgh. We assembled at their warehouse and learned firsthand about the impact the organization had for so many families in need of diapers and personal products. Our efforts packaging diapers for families were directly earmarked for Allegheny County households who needed help from the diaper bank. After just 2 short hours, the Touchstone Capital team packaged up nearly 7,500 diapers! AND, thanks to those who participated in the diaper drive at our recent shredding event in April, Touchstone Capital collected over 1,000 diapers for which we donated to the diaper bank.
